
Another Greyhound Signs AFL Deal

Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release
WHEELING, WV - The 2002 NIFL National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds are please to announce another former Greyhounds signed with the Arena Football League.
EJ Burt, a 6'2", 265 pound Defensive End out of West Liberty State College has signed an Arena League contract with the Orlando Predators.
Burt came to the Ohio Valley Greyhounds in the 2001 season under former head coach Wilkie Perez. The 2001 Greyhounds won the Eastern Division and lost to the eventual NIFL champion Mississippi Firedogs in the conference championship.
Burt played the 2002 season with Cape Fear and led the league in sacks. Ej is the 5th former Greyhound to sign an Arena League contract.
Greyhound alumni in the AFL include: Jose Davis, EJ Burt, Erik Herron, Corey Kelly and Bruce Reinecker.
