Ohio Valley Greyhounds News Release
The Ohio Valley Greyhounds participated in the St. John's Festival at Bellaire on Sunday May 21st. This was the 7th annual carnival held by the grade school to raise money for general funds. The Hounds joined in on the 3 on 3 basketball tournament playing the Hulkmania - Steve Palmer, Steven Boswell, and Charles Russell. Showing off basketball skills for the Greyhounds were linebacker Brock Dodrill, who hails from University of Toledo and leads the UIF with 66.5 tackles, Mike Sacco, a lineman and teammate of Dodrill at Toledo, and the Greyhound Entertainment Director, Derrick Raab. The teams were tied at 7-7 and had to move on to sudden death over time where the Hounds were ousted by a bucket from the Hulks. Along with the players and staff, Greyhound cheerleaders and mascot Blitz also joined in the festivities. Our Hounds are now ranked 3rd in the East Division of the UIF and will take on the BlueCats at Roberts Stadium in Evansville, Indiana this Saturday with kickoff at 7:05.
