April 3, 2008 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Youngstown SteelHounds News Release

YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO - The Youngstown SteelHounds will look to avoid elimination tonight when they take on the Colorado Eagles in game four of the CHL Northern Conference Semifinals at 7:05. The Eagles lead the series 3-0.

Just like last season when these teams met in the Northern Conference Quarterfinals the Eagles have jumped out to a commanding 3-0 lead. Youngstown went on to take games four and five and forced the series back to Colorado where the Eagles finished off the Hounds in six games. If the Hounds win tonight then game five will be at the Chevrolet Centre tomorrow night at 7:05.

The Eagles are led by forward Ed McGrane who has seven points (3-4) in three games. The Hounds are led by forwards Chris Richards and Bryan Lachapelle. Both players lead the team with four points coming from a goal and three assists. Richards had three assists in game one while Lachapelle had a goal and two assists. Lachapelle had an assist on Richard's goal from Tuesday night.

The Hound penalty kill has been a weak point in this series surrendering seven goals on 21 shorthanded situations. The Eagles have scored at least two power play goals in each game of this series. They have had seven power play chances in each game. Counting the regular season the Eagles have scored at least two power play goals in the last five meetings and are 12/38 (31.6%).

Its must win for Youngstown as a win and their season continues but a loss and it is over. Face-off is 7:05. Tickets are on sale for $8.00 and it is "Dollar Dog Night" which means all hot dogs are just a $1.00 all night long. For tickets stop by the Chevrolet Centre box office or call (330) 747-PUCK. All SteelHounds games are available on ESPN Radio 1240 and SteelHounds.com.
