Wheeling, WV- The 2002 NIFL National Champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds are pleased to announce the signing of Eddie Bynes.
Bynes, a 6'1", 283 pound defensive linemen from Lackawanna Junior College, will make his NIFL debut with the Greyhounds. Eddie played the 2002 season with Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pioneers of AF2. While with the Pioneers, Bynes led the team in sacks and led all defensive linemen in tackles. He won Ironman of the Game three times and Irongridder of the week once.
Bynes, while at Lackawanna was first team All Northeast honor, player of the week three times in a row. Eddie led the team in tackles and tackles for a loss. He also set a school record for career sacks with 32.
