Hounds and Juice Suspended in Tenth Inning
June 9, 2007 - South Coast League (SCL)
Aiken Foxhounds News Release
AIKEN, S.C. - The Aiken Foxhounds and the Bradenton Juice had their series finale suspended due to unplayable field conditions Saturday night at Roberto Hernandez Stadium. The game was delayed due to rain after the top of the tenth inning with the score tied 1-1. By the time the rain stopped, the umpires decided the field conditions were too poor to complete the game.
The game will be resumed next Thursday at Hernandez Stadium prior to game one of the Foxhounds-Juice series.
The Aiken Foxhounds will return to action on Monday night when they host the South Georgia Peanuts at 7:05 PM. The Peanuts fell into a first-place tie with the Foxhounds when they lost Saturday night at Macon 6-2.
