Ryan Hooper (UC Davis) went 1-2 and hit a home run, helping the Glens Falls Dragons (8-17) to a 6-2 victory over the Saugerties Stallions (9-14) on Sunday at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field.
He homered in the fourth inning.
Caleb Kerbs (University of Maine) got on base three times in the game for the Saugerties Stallions. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Drew Marino (Polk State University) got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked four and surrendered five hits.
Anthony Rocco (Pace University) (0-4) took the loss for the Saugerties Stallions. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
