HOMESTAND HIGHLIGHTS: Star Wars Night Saturday in Jackson

Jackson, Tenn. - After an 11-game road trip, the Jackson Generals return to West Tennessee on Tuesday to kick off a five-game series with the prospect-laden Mississippi Braves. The homestand wraps up on Saturday with Star Wars Night, one of the biggest nights of the year in Jackson! Fans will also enjoy a Thrifty Thursday and a Food Truck Friday in the penultimate home series of the First Half.

Tuesday's opener begins a stretch of 20 games in 20 days for the Generals heading into the All-Star Break. The Generals just returned from 11 games in Montgomery and Jacksonville. The team only has two more series at home in the First Half.

Thursday, June 1 - Thrifty Thursday - 6:05 pm CT

After games Tuesday and Wednesday night, the fun begins with another Thrifty Thursday in the middle of the five-game series! Fans can get general admission tickets, hot dogs, popcorn, 24-oz. soda, 16-oz. beer, ice cream and Fun Zone access for just $2 all night long! Reserved seats are just $6!

Friday, June 2 - Food Truck Friday/Hub City Hippos - 6:05 pm CT

Friday fun is back at The Ballpark! It's a Leaders Credit Union Food Truck Friday! There will be a bevy of local food trucks in the Fun Zone down the right field line, giving fans a host of options in addition to the stadium's concessions!

Hip Hip Hooray! The Hub City Hippos make their triumphant return on Friday! At every Friday home game, the Generals will play as the Hub City Hippos with special jerseys and hats! At the end of the season, the game-worn jerseys will be signed and auctioned off with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson thanks to Tennessee811!

Saturday, June 3 - Star Wars Night & Fireworks - 6:05 pm CT

It's one of the biggest nights of the year in Jackson! The team celebrates Star Wars Night on June 3! The entire night will be themed, with special jerseys for the players and characters from the franchise throughout the ballpark!

Lucky fans will win a trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida to experience Star Wars for themselves, all thanks to the Hardeman County Correctional Facility! Fans who come to the game are eligible for the experience!

The Generals will wear special Admiral Ackbar jerseys during the game! These will be auctioned off online to fans, with proceeds going to the Generals Care Foundation!

Another giveaway! The first 1,000 fans through the gates on Saturday will go home with a Generals jersey t-shirt to wear in town and to another game!

Fireworks! The Generals will put on another fantastic postgame fireworks show after the game thanks to the Hardeman County Correctional Facility, and they will be Star Wars themed! It is the first of three postgame fireworks shows the team will have in June!

Fans will also be able to sample Southern League Sponsor BC Powder at Saturday's game!
