The Barons are Almost Back in Birmingham!

The Birmingham Barons return to Regions Field for a six-game home stand on Tuesday, April 16th against the Mississippi Braves!

A new first for the 2024 season, Taco Tuesdays! Enjoy a $2 taco at Regions Field every Tuesday for the 2024 season!

Tuesday, April 16th: Taco Tuesday, Jackie Robinson Day, UAB MBB Night (7:00 PM)

Taco Tuesdays - Join the Barons for $2.00 tacos!

The Barons will be wearing Number 42 jerseys to honor Jackie Robinson's legacy

UAB Men's Basketball team will be at Regions Field showing off their AAC Championship trophy on the concourse!

Wednesday, April 17th: Wet Nose Wednesday (7:00 PM)

Wet Nose Wednesday - Presented by Birmingham Animal Hospital & Resort, Camp Scotty, Country Financial, and Gaines Family Farmstead. Fans can bring their pups to the park for every Wednesday night home game! Fans must sign a waiver for their dog inside the Main Gate.

On Wet Nose Wednesdays, Regions Field will have their new item for your pups at concessions stands, Babe Ruff's Pup Cup!

Thursday, April 18th: Thirsty Thursday & Severe Weather Awareness Night (7:00 PM)

Thirsty Thursday - Presented by Miller Lite, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jason Gardner State Farm, and The Palmer. Join the Barons for $2.50 domestic beer and soft drinks!

Friday, April 19th: Friday Night Fireworks, Stallions Night, and Coke Throwback Barons Hat Giveaway (7:00 PM)

Friday Night Fireworks - Presented by Alabama Power, Coca-Cola, and Coors Light. Enjoy fireworks after tonight's game!

Stallions Night - The back to back USFL Champs will be at Regions Field on the concourse taking pictures with fans!

The first 1,000 fans 13 and older will receive a throwback Barons hat Presented by Coca-Cola!

Saturday, April 20th: Ickey Shuffle Night with Ickey Woods (6:30 PM)

Ickey Shuffle Night - Visit Regions Field as Ickey Woods will be here to show us his famous Ickey Shuffle Presented by Birmingham Race Course and Casino!

Sunday, April 21st: Family Day & HBCU Night (4:00 PM)

Family Day - Presented by Alabama Power, and Mi Pueblo Supermarkets. Join us for Family Sundays where your little Barons (12 and under) will have the opportunity to run the bases after the game.

Barons on the Road

Barons Road Series at Rocket City

The Barons just completed a 6 game road series in Rocket City facing the Trash Pandas.

With the first game of the series being postponed, the series started on Wednesday night where the Barons fell to the Trash Pandas 8-2. The First Thursday game of the series ended in the same fate with the Barons falling 5-2.

Barons then bounced back against the Trash Pandas winning 6-2 behind Drew Thorpe throwing six innings and only allowing one earned run with seven strikeouts on the day.

Catcher Edgar Quero (#5 CWS Prospect) was on fire this week blasting three home runs on his way to nine total RBI's in the road series.

To make up for the rain on Tuesday, a doubleheader was played on Saturday. The Barons dropped the first game of the DH 3-2. The second game was total opposite as the Barons bats got hot, winning the second game 9-3.

The Barons played the final game of the series on Sunday, dropping that one 5-3.

Totaling the series to 4-2 in Trash Pandas favor. The Barons now are in a tie for the top team in the Southern League North with the Rocket City Trash Pandas.
