
Holiday Laser Light Experience Details Announced

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Nov. 23, 2015) - The Kannapolis Intimidators have announced details of the new family-friendly community festival, a three-day Holiday Laser Light Experience presented by Food Lion and Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial, December 4-6 at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System. Gates open each night at 5:00 p.m. with three nightly laser light shows set to holiday music at 6:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9:00 p.m. Tickets are only $5 (only $4 for kids 4-12 and seniors 55+) and are available through the Intimidators box office by calling (704) 932-3267 or by ordering online at IntimidatorsBaseball.com.
One ticket is good for admission for an entire evening, and families can bring their children to see Santa Claus at the stadium from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. as well as visit with some of the "coolest" characters like Princess Elsa, Princess Ana, and their friend Olaf from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. nightly. Children can also participate in numerous holiday-themed activities, including cookie decorating, making Christmas cards, and watching holiday movies on a giant inflatable screen. The stadium's expanded kids zone will also feature a bounce house, carousel, rock-climbing wall, and more.
Parents can stroll through the holiday crafts market, featuring local vendors selling wreathes, knit scarves, ornaments, and more.
"We are excited to bring a new event to our community," says Intimidators General Manager Randy Long. "The Intimidators are looking forward to spreading some holiday cheer while providing year-round affordable family entertainment."
The event will feature live music, including the Wonders Rock Band from Kannapolis A.L. Brown High School from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. nightly. The Intimidators' concessions stand will serve traditional ballpark fare in addition to special holiday concessions. The Coffee Priest will be on hand serving an assortment of holiday lattes, a Christmas blend roast, eggnog, apple cider, and baked goods.
