
Hogs Seek Third Straight Win in Sunday's Matinee

Rockford, Ill. -- The Rockford IceHogs seek back-to-back home wins and a third straight victory as they host the Milwaukee Admirals at the BMO Harris Bank Center Sunday afternoon.
Puck drop is 4 p.m. and fans can tune in to all the action on Cozi TV 23.3 or Dish Network Channel 252, beginning with IceHogs Warmup at 3:30 p.m. IceHogs fans can also listen to the game at sportsfanradio1330.com or watch live at AHLlive.com (subscription required).
Matchup: The IceHogs clash with the Admirals in the first of 10 total matchups between the teams during the 2017-18 season. Milwaukee went 8-2-1-1 during the 2016-17 series, but Rockford enters this afternoon's contest with points in 10 of its last 13 home games against the Admirals.
Rookie forward Matthew Highmore potted a pair of goals in the IceHogs' 7-4 victory over Iowa last night, and is currently tied for the team lead with four points (3g, 1a) on the season. Highmore shares the IceHogs lead in points with Tomas Jurco, who has tallied one goal and three assists in two games.
Milwaukee takes the ice ranked tied with the IceHogs for first place in the AHL Central Division. The Admirals scored five goals in each of their first two contests to dispatch Iowa in back-to-back road games on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8. The team is led by a pair of forwards with three points apiece in Frederick Gaudreau and Vladislav Kamenev, and also features former IceHogs winger, P.C. Labrie.
Next Home Game: The Rockford IceHogs return the BMO Harris Bank Center to take on the Grand Rapids Griffins Friday, Oct. 20. Puck drop is 7 p.m. features a showdown against the reigning Calder Cup champions.
