Hoffman Set to Represent Sens at All-Star Classic

BINGHAMTON, NY - The 2014 AHL All-Star Classic kicks off tonight from St. John's, Newfoundland, with the Skills Competition at 6:30p.m. Fans in the Greater Binghamton A rea can catch all of the All-Star Classic coverage live on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel 323.

Mike Hoffman, who has posted career highs in goals (25), assists (33) and points (58) through 46 games, will be the lone representative from the Binghamton Senators. The Kitchener, Ontario, native was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the fifth round of the 2009 draft. He has appeared in 224 AHL games, all with Binghamton and has compiled 57 goals and 85 assists for 142 career regular season points. This will be Hoffman's first trip to the All-Star Classic.

Tomorrow night's All-Star game will pit the AHL's finest players versus Färjestad BK of the Swedish Hockey League.
