Hockey Night in the FHL

January 15, 2011 - Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) News Release

Tonight the Cape Cod Barons play their 1st game representing the Cape as they travel to Rome, NY to take on the Frenzy. The Frenzy will have a new face in their lineup as veteran minor leaguer Ken Blum has signed a contrat with the Frenzy. Game time is 7:05 Good tickets are still available at the arena.

The 1st Place Akwesasne Warriors travel south to take on the Danbury Whalers who are coming off a dramatic 6-5 OT Penalty Shot win last night at the Danbury Ice Arena. The Warriors are playing without their leading scorer and FHL score leader Pierre Dagenais who just signed with the Oslo Elite team from Norway. Game time is 7:35. Don't come late as this will probably be a sellout crowd.

Matt Puntureri, The FHL PLayer of the Month for December 2010, leads the NY Aviators into action vs the 1000 Islands Privateers at the Aviators Sports Complex. The Aviators have not lost since Dec. 27th when they dropped the contest to the Privateers 5-3. The Aviators are looking to pay back the Privateers for that loss. The Privateers are coming off a tough loss at Danbury last night, 6-5 in OT.

The puck drops at 7:35 and good tickets are still available.
