
Hip Hop Sensation B.o.B to Perform Colonials UFL Halftime Show

EAST HARTFORD, CT - Multi talented recording artist B.o.B is scheduled to perform at halftime of the Hartford Colonials' season opener Sept. 18 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford.
Fans will be treated to an eclectic musical set at halftime by B.o.B, whose given name is Bobby Ray Simmons. He is scheduled to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles this weekend, followed by appearances Sept. 13-14 at Yankee Stadium as an opening act to mega-star rappers Jay-Z and Eminem.
B.o.B shot to the top of the Billboard charts earlier this year with the No. 1 single "Nothin' on You" from his top-selling album "The Adventures of Bobby Ray." The record also includes Top 10 hits "Airplanes" and "Magic," which is featured in an Adidas ad.
Tickets for the Colonials' Sept. 18 game against Sacramento (2:30 pm) start at $15 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster, the Bushnell box office or by calling 860-913-2300.
