Hillsboro Hops Announce Promotions Schedule for 2016 Season

Hillsboro, OR - The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops ) today revealed their promotion night schedule for the 2016 season.
The Hops get the home schedule started on Monday, June 20th at 7:05p.m. with a pre-game championship ceremony honoring the Hops' 2015 Northwest League championship - their second championship in three years in Hillsboro. Other opening night highlights include a magnet schedule giveaway and a post-game fireworks display.
Fans can also take in post-game fireworks displays on July 4th (Independence Day Celebration) and September 5th.
Other highlights on the schedule include Championship Night with Replica Championship Trophies being given away to the first 1,500 fans (Tuesday, June 21st); Star Wars Night (Thursday, June 30th); an appearance by the world-famous San Diego Chicken (Wednesday, July 13th); Portland Beavers Night in which the Hops will wear throwback jerseys from the 1956 Beaver team (Thursday, July 28th); Barley Bobblehead Night for the first 2,000 fans (Monday, August 15th); Youth Sports Weekend (August 20 & 21); Craft Beer Night (Tuesday, August 23rd); Back to School Night with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a McDonald's lunch box; and Fan Appreciation Weekend will take place during the last homestand of the regular season (September 3rd- 5th).
Kids can also run the bases after each Saturday and Sunday home game during the 2016 Hops season. First pitch for weekday home games is 7:05 p.m. Saturday home games start at 5:03 p.m. and Sunday home games start at 1:05 p.m.
The Hops will host their home opener at Ron Tonkin Field on Monday, June 20th against the Eugene Emeralds. 2016 season tickets and mini plans are on sale now by calling the Hillsboro front office at (503) 640-0887 or online at www.hillsborohops.com .
