Hill City Howlers News Release

Frederick, Md. - Today's double-header between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Frederick Keys has been postponed due to rain. One of the games is canceled, while the other game will be made up as part of a double-header in Frederick on Wednesday, June 13, with the first game beginning at 5 p.m.

The double-header games will be seven innings in length.

With one of the games being canceled, that now marks two contests that the Hillcats will not make up in the first half. The first cancellation was on May 28 against Buies Creek.

Lynchburg will now play four double-headers over the next eight days. The Hillcats will play twin bills on June 6 at Wilmington, June 9 at home against Potomac, and against the Keys in back-to-back days at Nymeo Field on June 12 and June 13.

Following Monday's off day, the Hillcats will hit the road for Wilmington to begin a four-game series against the Blue Rocks starting on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. at Frawley Stadium.

Max Gun will be on the air at 6:25 p.m. with the Hillcats pre-game show on TuneIn Radio and the Radio434 App.

The Hillcats return home on Friday, June 8 to take on the Potomac Nationals. The homestand will feature Breast Cancer Awareness Night on Friday, a fireworks show on Sparkling Saturday, and also Sandlot Sunday with post-game Kids Run the Bases and Family Catch in the Outfield.
