Fayetteville, NC: The Crossover started out strong in the JD Fuller Center on Friday night, building an early 7 point lead over the visiting Cary squad. But, the Invasion made a run in the second quarter and led by a dozen at halftime. Sharp shooting from multiple Cary players opened up a 24 point lead in the 3rd quarter, and late runs from the Crossover could bring them no closer than 11 points. The final score was 124 -111. Forward Raymond McKeithan had 32 points for Crossover. Invasion guard Freddie Little had 20 points. Seven Invasion players scored in double figures.
