Huntersville, NC: In an impressive display of team basketball and top notch defensive play, Huntersville Hoopforlyfe handed the All American Ballers of Fayetteville another loss Sunday at Lake Norman Charter School 106-87 in Tobacco Road Basketball League action.
From the beginning, Huntersville Hoopforlyfe took the lead and never gave up that lead. Late in the third period Hoopforlye was up by as much as 20. Although the All American Ballers were able to come within 7 points of the lead in the fourth period, it just wasn't enough.
Huntersville Hoopforlyfe was led by Jay Jay Alexnder with 18 points and Tony Young with 17 points. Fayetteville's All American Ballers were led by Antwain McGregor with 31 points and Kenneth Haywood Jr. with 22 points.
Huntersville Hoopforlyfe is now 3-1 in the Tobacco Road Basketball League, remaining undefeated at home. Huntersville Hoopforlyfe will be hitting the road January 24th for their next game against the Wilmington Sea Dawgs.
