Henderson's Raphael Lavoie Named Fortune Tires "Expect More" AHL Player of the Month
Published on April 1, 2026 under American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League announced today that Henderson Silver Knights forward Raphael Lavoie has been selected as the Fortune Tires "Expect More" AHL Player of the Month for March.
Each month, the Fortune Tires "Expect More" AHL Player of the Month award will honor one standout player from the league for exceptional performance. Fortune Tires, the Official Tire of the AHL, will contribute $500 to the player's charity of choice - and $2,500 to the Player of the Year's charity - highlighting the company's commitment to both excellence and community impact.
Lavoie scored 13 goals and added seven assists for 20 points in 14 games for the surging Silver Knights last month.
Lavoie began the month with goals in back-to-back games, Mar. 1 vs. Colorado and Mar. 6 at Ontario, then closed out March with a 10-game scoring streak. He capped his third career hat trick with the deciding goal in a 7-6 overtime victory at Tucson on Mar. 11, and helped Henderson sweep a two-game visit to Abbotsford with a goal and an assist on Mar. 14 and two helpers on Mar. 15. Lavoie notched two goals and an assist in the Silver Knights' 6-5 win at Calgary on Mar. 17 before adding a goal and an assist as part of an 8-2 win over the Wranglers on Mar. 18 as Henderson completed a perfect 6-0-0 road trip. He picked up his 200th career AHL point with an assist on Mar. 25 vs. Ontario, and then finished March with another game-winning goal in a 4-1 win at Milwaukee on Mar. 28.
Lavoie's 13 goals were the most scored by an AHL player in a single month since Riley Barber (15) and Stefan Noesen (13) in April 2022.
Lavoie has totaled 24 goals and 20 assists for 44 points in just 37 games with Henderson this season, his sixth pro campaign and second with the Vegas organization. Selected by Edmonton in the second round of the 2019 NHL Draft, the native of Chambly, Que., has registered 112 goals and 90 assists for 202 points in 278 career AHL contests with Henderson and Bakersfield, and has skated in 17 games in the NHL with the Oilers and Golden Knights.
