Heisman Trophy on Display at Revolution's June 1st Home Game

Allen, TX: Heisman Trophy winner and Texas Revolution General Manager Tim Brown has announced that he will be putting his coveted 1987 Heisman Trophy on display at the Allen Event Center for the Texas Revolution's home game on June 1st against the Colorado Ice.

Brown, who joined the Revolution in its inaugural season as both a Co-Owner and General Manager is honored to be included in a special night paying tribute to his impressive career. The June 1st game will feature not only some of Brown's favorite memorabilia, but also video clips of his playing career highlights and acknowledgement of some of his most impressive accolades. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will also receive a Bobble-Head of the 9-time NFL Pro-Bowler courtesy of Dodge City of McKinney!

In Brown's professional career, he had amassed 1,094 catches and 105 touchdowns while playing for the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over his 17 NFL seasons. He has also been named a College Football Hall of Famer in 2009 and is eligible for the NFL Hall of Fame.

The Texas Revolution have four games remaining on their 2013 Indoor Football League Schedule. The Revs are in the middle of the United Conference playoff race, and host three of those final four games at the Allen Event Center. The fans really contribute to the excellent Allen Event Center atmosphere, and can be that extra motivation the Revs need to ensure victory!
