Heether heads to DL, Davenport activated

Huntsville Stars News Release
MONTGOMERY, AL - The Huntsville Stars have placed third baseman Adam Heether on the disabled list with an oblique muscle strain and activated outfielder Ulyses Davenport from the disabled list. Davenport will be in uniform for the Stars game Tuesday morning against the Biscuits.
Heether had his first two hit game of the season last night and is batting .132 with three runs batted in. He had been mired in a one-for-28 slump prior to going two-for-three with a sacrifice bunt and run-scoring single in Monday's 10-3 win over the Biscuits, during which he sustained the injury.
Davenport was placed on the disabled list a week ago with a right calf strain. He had collected four hits, three doubles, in 27 at-bats and knocked in one run in nine games before suffering his injury.
The Stars and Biscuits wrap up their five-game series Wednesday night before the team heads off to Birmingham to begin a five-game set with the Barons on Thursday night.
