Harrisburg Heat News Release

An undermanned Heat squad dropped its fifth straight game on Saturday night, falling to the Philadelphia KiXX by a final score of 10-6 at the First Union Spectrum. As a result, Harrisburg (9-14) enters the week two and one-half games behind second-place Cleveland and one game ahead of the last-place Baltimore Blast.

The Heat, dressing only 13 players due to a handful of injuries, trailed only 4-2 at halftime and fell victim to a 6-0 second-half run by the KiXX. Two fourth-quarter consolation goals, by Chris Morman at 10:22 and Genoni Martinez at 14:50, created the final score. The Heat is now 0-4 against Philly this season, having lost those four games by a total of 11 points.

Harrisburg blocked a season-high 19 shots in the game, led by Martinez's seven rejections. Raul Salas remained winless in net for the season, finishing with 14 saves as he dropped to 0-6. Horacio Robledo scored the Heat's other goal.
