Heat Practice Schedule Set

Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Heat, fresh off this past weekend's preseason tournament in Baltimore, will practice Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the club's official training facility, Sports City on Linglestown Road.

The Heat lost 14-12 in overtime to the Baltimore Blast on Saturday night at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore. Harrisburg fell the next morning to the Cleveland Force by the final score of 31-6. The games served as the team's first real action under new head coach Erich Geyer.

The Heat will open its 2002-03 regular season on Saturday, October 5 in Philadelphia (7:05 at the First Union Spectrum). Harrisburg's '02-03 home opener is slated for Saturday, November 2 against the Dallas Sidekicks. Kickoff at the Farm Show Arena will be 7:35 p.m.
