
Heat Announces Schedule Changes
September 3, 2002 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2)

Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Heat officially announced on Tuesday that two games on its 2002-03 schedule have been altered:
The game originally scheduled as Sunday, February 2 vs. Philadelphia at 6:05 p.m. has been changed to Saturday, February 1 vs. Philadelphia at 7:35 p.m., and
The game originally scheduled as Friday, February 28 vs. Milwaukee at 7:35 p.m. has been changed to a School Day Game on Wednesday, March 5 vs. Milwaukee at 10:35 a.m.
This will mark the first-ever School Day Game for the Heat. Other Major Indoor Soccer League clubs have been participating in the School Day program for several years, with outstanding results.
"The School Day program has been successful in other cities," said Heat General Manager Gregg Cook, "and with the support of the City of Harrisburg and the Farm Show Arena, we're very excited to try it here."
Arrangements will be made to accommodate season ticket holders who are unable to attend the School Day Game.
The Heat and new head coach Erich Geyer will open preseason training camp this coming Monday, September 9 at Sports City on Linglestown Road. Harrisburg will see its first game action in a preseason tournament in Baltimore on September 21 and 22, facing the host Blast at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday the 21st, and squaring off against the Cleveland Force on Sunday the 22nd at 11:00 a.m.
