As for the show's lead-off guest of the new season, Fury Coach Nelson, in his first two years as the Fury bench pacer, he has brilliantly orchestrated his Muskegon squad to a pair of titles with the "Furious Ones" becoming only the third team in UHL history to capture custody of the coveted Colonial Cup crown in back-to-back seasons. In the process, Nelson has achieved a scintillating coaching record of 156(98-40-18) for a winning percentage of a sparkling .686. In the Fury's two consecutive climbs to "The Cup," he has assembled an amazing mark of 28(23-5) for a win percentage of .822. In two short seasons, Nelson has become the Fury franchise all-time winning coach in the playoffs, including that unprecedented, unparalleled, undefeated perfect 11(11-0) surge to the circuit summit in his initial pro coaching endeavor in 2003-04.
FURY HOTLINE PRESENTED BY PEPSI will air every Monday night during the Fury hockey season and on a monthly basis during the summer off-season on both WMHG-AM "MAGIC 1600" and the FURY INTERNET on the Fury web-site at www.furyhockey.com.
