
Fury have announced the hiring of Kyle Tigner

MUSKEGON, MI. --- With the start of the 2005 - 2006 hockey season right around the corner, the four-time Colonial Cup Champion Muskegon Fury continue to prepare for another successful title defense.
Today, the Fury have announced the hiring of KYLE TIGNER, A.T.C., as new Head Athletic Trainer, and filling of the position of team Equipment Manager in RUSS BREMNER. Each has ties to the West Michigan area, and each is coming into his first professional stint.
Tigner, 28, comes to the Fury after graduating with a master's degree in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University in April 2005. There, he was the trainer for the university's football and track teams.
A graduate of Grand Valley State University in December of 2003, Tigner earned bachelor's degrees in Health Science and Movement Science, both with emphases on sports. While at GVSU, he served as trainer for the football, baseball and track teams.
A native of Coleman, MI, Tigner has been in the Muskegon organization before, serving as an intern under Chris Porowski, A.T.C., for three months during the Fury Colonial Cup III season of 2001 - 2002.
Bremner, a native of East Kentwood, MI, comes to the Fury after helping run the Kentwood Pro Shop for four years. A rookie to the equipment management trade, Bremner, 24, graduated from Grand Rapids Community College in the summer of 2003.
In the past, he also spent some of his time assisting Grand Rapids Griffins' Head Coach Greg Ireland in hockey camps, and gained the attention of Fury Head Coach Todd Nelson soon thereafter.
