Tomahawks are back in Pennsylvania after sweeping the Kenai River Brown Bears and taking nine out of a possible 10 points during their Alaska road trip. Now, the team looks ahead to an exciting month of October.

Tomahawks Trounce Brown Bears with Sweep

The Tomahawks scored a total of 16 times during the three-game sweep of the Kenai River Brown Bears to improve their record to 9-1-1 on the season.

In game one, the Tomahawks defense shut down the Brown Bear attack en route to a 3-0 win.

Johnstown and the Brown Bears renewed the series Friday, October 7 and the Tomahawks used a Donovan Ott hat trick to earn an 8-2 win over Kenai River.

Saturday's game saw Dalton Hunter tally a goal and an assist while Ott scored another goal in a 5-3 win.

The Tomahawks have this week off before a three-game road trip against the 0-11-0 Northeast Generals, beginning Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 p.m in Attleboro, Mass.

Ott Named East Division Star of the Week

Tomahawks forward Donovan Ott capped off his stellar weekend by earning East Division Star of the Week honors for the week ending October 9.

Ott scored four goals and added one assist Johnstown's sweep of Kenai River last weekend.
