Waterloo, Iowa - Anticipation for the opening game of a new Waterloo Black Hawks season always begins to spike in late summer, and with only 50 days left before the puck drops for the first time in 2018/19, the Hawks are announcing their October promotional schedule.
The team will spotlight an additional month of special offers, giveaways, and fun each workday through Tuesday, September 4th when single-game regular season tickets go on sale at 9:30 a.m.
October games in Party Town are highlighted by a celebration of Waterloo's 2017/18 Anderson Cup, free tickets for kids, and the Black Hawks' annual effort to support area cancer patients.
Saturday, October 13th vs. Green Bay, 7:05 p.m.
-Anderson Cup Championship Celebration and banner unveiling
-Bud Light Opening "Knight," featuring $2 Bud Light
-Anderson Cup commemorative pennant for the first 1,000 fans
-College Night, presented by The Other Place ($9 game day tickets or $8 in advance with college ID)
Thursday, October 18th vs. Youngstown, 7:05 p.m.
-"Youthful Enthusiasm Night," claim a free ticket for young fans, age 12 and under
-$2 concession specials: hot dogs, pizza, soft drinks
-2018/19 schedule poster for the first 1,000 fans, presented by Karen's Print Rite
-College Night, presented by The Other Place ($9 game day tickets or $8 in advance with college ID)
