Hawks name Foutz VP of Sales and Marketing

NFL All-Pro DT Sam Adams, the owner of the Everett Hawks of the af2 league, announced today that Dan Foutz has been hired as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Foutz was previously the General Manager for the San Diego Riptide of arenafootball2.
Dan Foutz enters his third season in arenafootball2 and first with the Everett Hawks. As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, he will oversee all business aspects, including partnership development, organizational structure and league affairs.
Before joining the Hawks, Foutz spent 2005 and part of the 2004 season with the San Diego Riptide (af2). He began as Director of Football Operations, adding Game Operations & Finance before eventually taking over as General Manager for most of the 2005 season. His other professional experience includes one year as Project Manager for Performance Research in Newport, Rhode Island, and internships with the Cleveland Browns, Lammi Sports Management, Milwaukee Wave, Miami University Athletic Department and Cleveland Sports Commission.
Foutz received his Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School where he also earned a certificate in Sports Law from the National Sports Law Institute. Foutz obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in marketing at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Foutz was raised in Dover, Ohio and has three brothers: Colt, Jake, and Sam. His parents, Janet and Fred Foutz now reside in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Foutz is expected to arrive at the Hawks' offices in early October.
