
Hawks' Extra-Base Hits Win Game, 4-1

EVERETT, Wash. - The Boise Hawks bounced back from last night's loss, never trailing the AquaSox before ultimately winning 4-1.
Isaac Collins hit a double to center field in the top of the third, forcing in the first run of the game for Boise. Trent Tingelstad tied up the game in the bottom of the fourth with a crushed RBI double to center field, driving in Patrick Frick.
Collins broke the tie in the top of the seventh with a two-RBI triple just before Ezequiel Tovar drove in the final run of the game with a line drive to left field. A diving catch from the 'Sox sent the inning into the bottom half with the Frogs trailing 4-1.
Right-handed pitcher Brock Minich closed for Everett, pitching one complete inning, giving up one hit while striking out one batter. Despite holding the Hawks, the AquaSox were unable to make a comeback, falling 4-1.
At the plate, the Frogs registered five hits with one double and one RBI. On the hill, right-handed pitcher Juan Then pitched completed innings, striking out eight Hawks while allowing one earned run. Right-hander Evan Johnson finished three innings, giving up three runs while striking out two.
Up next, the AquaSox return to Funko Field for the final game in the series against the Boise Hawks on July 3.
