Hawks' Break Ground on Diamond Club

BOISE, ID - The Boise Hawks begin construction on a major renovation to Memorial Stadium. The Hawks' new Diamond Club will add 76 exclusive box seats to the stadium literally just feet from the action!

"It will enhance the fans experience more so than any other minor league park in the country," said Boise Hawks Chairman/CEO Neil Leibman. "They'll be so close to the game, they'll feel like they're part of the action."

The Diamond Club experience features exclusive parking, wait staff and ushers and also includes $60 worth of food, unlimited Pepsi products and popcorn throughout the game for each four-person box.

Each Diamond Club Member will also receive access to the Hawks' new Executive Club Lounge which will feature hors d'oeuvres and drinks from 5:30-7:00pm before every home game. The new amenities have Hawks' sponsors and Diamond Club members buzzing.

"Nagel is excited to have the opportunity to sit in the premier seating at Memorial Stadium in 2008," said Nagel Beverage Cold Drink Division Manager Curt Goldgrabe. "We're looking forward to another great year of Hawks baseball."

The Diamond Club is a CTA Architects design. Wright Brothers Construction expects to have the work completed by May 5.Picture-002-copy.gif

"We're thrilled to break ground on the Diamond Club," said Hawks' President/General Manager Todd Rahr. "This is the first step in making significant improvements to Memorial Stadium. Premium seating has shown to be a desirable offer at stadiums across the country. This will provide us with the springboard to start the other improvements we also want to implement in other parts of the park."

The Hawks continue to prepare for their 22nd season of Northwest League play in 2008. The club has won 6 NWL Championships, the most recent banner coming in 2004.
