ISLANDERS' AUTHENTIC WHITE JERSIES
The Hawaiian Islanders recently announced the creation of their new road white uniforms. Previously, the Islanders wore red but now introduced a third uniform that may be used at home or on the road. "Many professional franchises have a third uniform in case the visiting team's colors are similar to ours," said Islanders Communications Director Thomas Yoshida. "Now fans can purchase these white uniforms along with the black and the red set currently on sale."
Since the announcement of the sale of authentic red and black uniforms two weeks ago, sales are extremely brisk and quantities are now limited. If you are interested in purchasing Islanders gear, go to www.hawaiianislanders.com and click on the Islanders Store icon on the navigation bar.
MEET THE 2004 ISLANDERS GIRLS
Selected for their talent, beauty and crowd appeal, the Hawaiian Islanders announced the selection of the eight-member Islanders Girls squad for the 2004 season. This elite group of professional ladies went through three rounds of interviews and the result is a perfect touch of "glitz and dazzle" at every Hawaiian Islanders game.
The Islanders Girls have received national attention for their fresh, sassy style as well as their new look uniforms. Current plans call for a release of a video as well as a 2004-05 swimsuit calendar.
To arrange the Islanders Girls to appear at your function, please call the Hawaiian Islanders office at (808) 532-7362 or e-mail the request to ctamanaha@hawaiianislanders.com or fax the details to: (808) 537-9165, Attn: Cristy Tamanaha.

ISLANDERS ILLUSTRATED ON OC16
This season, the Hawaiian Islanders television show has got a new stage, a new look and a new nameâIslanders Illustrated. Formerly known as Islanders Weekly, the organization wanted a new name that reflected the show's qualities of sensational highlights, pictures and graphics. Thus Islanders Illustrated was named.
Along with it's new name...a better product.
Alema Harrington, host and producer of the show, brings much experience to the Islanders. In his second season, the local TV personality has an array of new ideas, including the collaboration of a new stage set.
"It's an exciting year for us," Harrington said. "We've increased our resources and what we are looking to do is take the show to a new level." Highlights of the first show will include a look back at the Islanders West Division Championship run, the endeavors of coaches and players during the off season and former players moving on to the Arena Football League, the National Football League and the NFL-Europe developmental league.
Islanders Illustrated will debut Tuesday, March 23 at 8:30 pm on Oceanic channel 16. For re-air times, check your local listings or go to www.hawaiianislanders.com.
