Twin City Cyclones News Release
The Pee Dee Cyclones traveled to Huntsville, Alabama on Saturday night for their last game of the 2006-2007 season. Despite a good effort from the Cyclones, the Havoc managed to come up with the one-goal victory. Huntsville struck first with a goal from Dan Buccella. Pee Dee's John Gurskis added one soon after, to even the score at one going into the middle stanza. Chris Rebernik got on the board for the Cyclones to start off the second period, but the Havoc added two more shots to their total to put the score 2-3 at the end of the second. Buccella connected again for his second goal of the game to put the Havoc up by two. Daryl Moore gave the Cyclones hope with a powerplay goal with less than eight minutes remaining in regulation to pull within one. Unfortunately, Moore's goal would be the last on the night and the season for the Cyclones. Cyclones' netminder, Leni Di Costanzo had 35 saves. The Pee Dee Cyclones would like to thank all of their fans and sponsors for their support this season.
