Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release
DANBURY, CT - The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the NAHL wrap up the first half of their season tonight, with a tilt against the Maryland Black Bears at 7 p.m. inside of Danbury Arena.
The Hat Tricks and Black Bears battled last night, in a game that eventually saw the Black Bears come away with a 5-4 victory. The Hat Tricks played solid hockey over the last 40 minutes but couldn't recover from giving up three goals in the first.
"We need more accountability," commented Hat Tricks head coach Billy McCreary. "Everyone here understands that and hopefully tomorrow we turn that into three consistent periods."
Danbury currently sits in seventh place in the NAHL East and looks to start the climb out of that position with tonight's game.
"We need to keep pounding the rock," continued McCreary. "We need work for our bounces and be more mature in our approach and that's how we turn this ship around."
Following tonight's contest, the Hat Tricks will have a few weeks off, with no games until New Year's Eve when they travel to Lewiston to take on the Maine Nordiques.
You can buy tickets to tomorrow's game on our website or at the front gate of Danbury Arena. If you can't make it out to the game, make sure to follow along with all the action live via HockeyTV or online via our social media channels.
