Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks News Release
DANBURY, CT - The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks return home this week to challenge the Northeast Generals for the second weekend in a row. The Hat Tricks played a trio of games against Northeast in Attleboro last weekend, and went 1-2, dropping the final two games of the series.
The Hat Tricks have been relying on production from their top line through their past few weeks, including Jazz Krivtsov, who has been on a tear as of late. Krivstov has scored five goals over his past five games and looks to continue the hot streak this weekend against Northeast.
"Jazzy has always played an honest game," commented head coach Billy McCreary. "It has been good to see him get rewarded the last few times out."
The Hat Tricks are in the midst of seven-straight games with Northeast, a stretch that isn't a commonality in the NAHL.
"You don't see it too often, especially during the regular season," mentioned McCreary. "But you take it for what it is, and we have to focus on winning this series."
The Hat Tricks fell to 1-4 against Northeast this season with the series last weekend, but look to climb their way out of 7th in the East this weekend against Northeast.
"We need to approach this weekend as an all-hands on deck mentality," continued McCreary. "I think that will help us moving into tomorrow's game."
Follow along with all the games this weekend by following the Hat Tricks on their various social media channels or by watching the games live on HockeyTV.
The game on Friday is slated for a 3:30 p.m. puck drop and Saturday is slated for a 4 p.m. puck drop.
