Hartford Colonials News Release
Offensive lineman Jacob Bender, who played for the Hartford Colonials this season, was signed by the Washington Redskins and added to the practice squad.
Bender (6-6, 315) appeared in six games with the Colonials after signing Oct. 4. He was drafted by the Jets in 2007 and made his NFL debut Oct. 28 that season against Buffalo. He also has been on the practice squads of the Saints, Giants, 49ers and Patriots.
