Victoria, BC - General Manager Holly Jones is pleased to announce that the Victoria HarbourCats have selected Coca-Cola Canada as the team's official soft drink, sports drink and beverage partner for the inaugural season.

Under the agreement, Coca-Cola Canada will supply all-non alcoholic beverages for sale at the concessions at Royal Athletic Park, provide PowerAdeR for the players, and provide other marketing and advertising assets within the park.

Coca-Cola will also place the HarbourCats logo on the back of two of their fleet trucks in the Greater Victoria region for a period of six months.

Coca-Cola will retain their existing signage on the main scoreboard at Royal Athletic Park for the HarbourCats 2013 inaugural season, starting with opening pitch Wednesday June 5th, through to mid-August.

"We are pleased to have such a well-known and iconic brand such as Coca-Cola on board for our initial season," said Jones. "They have a long-standing presence at Royal Athletic Park and with the community that we are happy will continue through our inaugural season. We also can't wait to see our HarbourCats logo making the rounds through town on the back of their vehicles."

"We are excited that baseball is back in Victoria and that we will be a part of the HarbourCats operations at Royal Athletic Park in 2013," said James van Dam, Coca-Cola's District Sales Manager. "The HarbourCats will provide great entertainment for families and fans of all ages and with their hosting of the 2013 All-Star game, it should be a great year for the club, one that we are proud to be a part of."
