Hammond Rollers looking for head coach
April 13, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Rockford Fury News Release
Hammond, IN. Denise Pulphus, CEO of the newly named ABA Hammond Rollers expansion basketball team scheduled to begin play in November is looking for a head coach. According to Ms. Pulphus, "We've had some inquiries since our original announcement, but we have not found the right person yet. First and foremost, we need a coach that can teach. ABA players are looking to move to the next level and they want to improve; we need someone who can make good players great. Then, we need a coach who can work well within the community with the schools and youth leagues. The competition in the ABA is very tough, so of course, we want a coach that can put together a winning team and make the fans of the Region proud. This is a tall order - but the right coach is out there. We just need to find him." Please submit your resume to hammondaba@yahoo.com or you can mail it to 328 Ridge Road, #110, Munster, IN 46321. Or visit www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
