Hammerheads Selling More Season Tickets
December 23, 2004 - National Indoor Football League (NIFL)
Corpus Christi Hammerheads News Release
CORPUS CHRISTI - The Hammerheads are enjoying happy days. They've already sold 2,100 season tickets, three months before their season opener. They only sold 1,850 last year. Team owner Chad Dittman freely admits merging with the NIFL was a god send.
"From a business standpoint. Plus, to make sense for us it was going to be real hard for us to have another year like we had last year," said Dittman. "As the IFL it was just so much stress and burden on the Hammerheads to make sure the other teams succeeded in the league. This year we don't have to worry about anything."
The fans are benefiting from the merger, and the new arena, as well. Ticket prices are down. Season tickets are just $88.00, compared to $198.00 last year. The Hammers home opener is March 12th against San Angelo.
