Halmo Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that Captain Michael Halmo is the clubs Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the second time in as many weeks.
Halmo started the week off at home to the Niagara Ice Dogs where he netted his 21st goal of the season in a 2-1 loss. On Friday evening in Kitchener, Halmo's nine game point scoring streak came to end after he was held pointless in a 4-1 defeat.
The overage forward started off 2012 in good fashion on Sunday, netting his 22nd and 23rd goals of the season, however; the Attack were not able to come from behind and dropped a 4-3 decision to the Oshawa Generals.
Halmo now sits 10th in OHL scoring and 5th in goals with 23.
The Attack is back in action at home this Saturday, January 7th when they host the Brampton Battalion. Saturday is Wiarton Willy night with the Attack and the action gets underway at 7:30pm.
