Hall leads Flyers past San Diegp

Down 3-0 in the 4th inning, the Flyers staged another comeback and beat San Diego 8-3 at Goodwin Field to take the three game series. Trevor Hall's three-run homerun tied the game after Rich Pohle and Peanut Williams singled to set him up.

The Flyers took an 8-3 lead behind a five run 5th inning. There were six hits in the inning and the Flyers batted 10 men.

Rich Pohle's two-RBI single was the game-winning hit. Trevor Hall and Gabe Mayorga drove in the other three runs.

Jakubauskas gave up a two-run homerun to Matt Maloney, which put San Diego in front 3-0.

The Flyers rallied back from a four-run deficit last night to beat the Surf Dawgs.

Ryan Olson threw two scoreless innings of relief.

Jakubauskas gave up eight hits and no walks, while striking out six in seven innings.

Justin Ottman gave up all eight runs to earn the loss.

Tommy Lasorda threw out the first pitch to spark the Goodwin Field crowd.

The first half champion Reno Silver Sox come to town for a three game series starting Friday at 7:05 pm.
