Corpus Christi Hammerheads News Release
Corpus Christi, TX- The army isn't the only one looking for a few good men. The first and only open tryout is going to be held on February 6 at the American Bank Center. That's right we're kicking off the football festivities of Superbowl Sunday early. Talent can be found just about anywhere and the Hammerheads are committed to bringing the best and the brightest in entertainment to Corpus Christi, so if you think you have what it takes come down to the American Bank Canter and show us what your made of.
The tryouts are for all positions and open to any players ages 18 and up. All players trying out should wear workout clothes and either turf shoes or sneakers. No cleats will be permitted on the field. Please note that trying out for this professional football team will effectively end any remaining NCAA or NAIA eligibility the player might have left.
There will be a $50 tryout fee for players that are registered before February 6. Those registering on the day of tryouts will be required to pay a $60 fee. Players who wish to pre-register can pick up applications at the Hammerheads office located on the second floor of Sunrise Mall.
