
Gurson, Hauss End Long Weekend with 11-4 Rout of Barracudas

Monterrey, Mexico - The RGV Barracudas drop the home finale of their schedule as they fell to the Cedar Rapids Rampage by a final score of 11-4 on Monday night at the State Farm Arena.
The Rampage scored three goals in the first quarter as Robert Gunderson, Mario Alvarez, and Victor France scored the goals that gave them a 3-0 advantage.
In the second quarter, the Barracudas got on the board when Antonio Manfut found the back of the net to make it 3-1 on a powerplay goal. Cedar Rapids scored three more goals highlighted by a pair of Gordy Gurson goals that made it 6-1 in favor of the Rampage. RGV added another goal by Ismael Pineda and made it a 6-2 game.
After the intermission, the Rampage and Barracudas traded a pair of goals which made the score 8-4. Moises Gonzalez and Rodrigo Tinoco found the back of the net for RGV.
In the last quarter, Cedar Rapids scored three more goals as Gunderson, Jonnathan Pachar, and Sam Guernsey each scored goals that made it an 11-4 final.
RGV goalie Fidel Garcia took the loss on nine saves and his record is now at 2-9.
