Gurley Activated Off Injured Reserve

TAMPA BAY - The Five-Time World Champion Tampa Bay Storm have activated lineman Buck Gurley off of injured reserve, General Manager/Head Coach Tim Marcum announced today.

Gurley, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound OL/DL will appear in his eighth game this season. Gurley has accumulated two tackles this season. The former University of Florida standout won a National Championship with the Gators in 1996 and won a Super Bowl Championship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003.

Lineman Thaddeus Bullard has been placed on injured reserve with bruised left ribs. Bullard, a 6-4, 275-pound lineman from the University of Florida has played in four games this season and made three tackles.

The Storm will kickoff the last of their two-game home stand against the San Jose SaberCats Friday night with kickoff slated for 7:30 p.m. (TV: None, Radio: WDAE 620AM, Web: AFL Net at www.arenafootball.com). The home stand began with a, 56-41, victory over the Utah Blaze last Saturday night. All the action can be heard on your radio home for Storm football "The Sports Animal" WDAE 620AM with Jack Harris and Jason Dixon. Pregame action can be heard starting at 7:15 p.m.
