DALLAS OS TERRILL SHAW & WR/DB WILL PETTIS VS. NEW YORK OS KEVIN SWAYNE & WR/DB MIKE HORACEK

Top receivers clash in New York, when OS TERRILL SHAW (6-0, 190, Southern Mississippi) and WR/DB WILL PETTIS (6-0, 200, Midwestern State) of the Dallas Desperados (8-2) take on WR/DB MIKE HORACEK (6-2, 200, Iowa State) and OS KEVIN SWAYNE (6-2, 185, Wayne State - Nebraska) of the New York Dragons (6-4) in an Eastern Division battle this Sunday at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dallas' explosive offense features March Offensive Player of the Month QB CLINT DOLEZEL (6-5, 205, Texas A&M-Commerce) and a triple-threat receiving corps beginning with Shaw, who accounts for 25 touchdowns and 876 receiving yards on 65 catches. Pettis, another major threat on offense has pulled down 64 receptions for 886 yards and 18 touchdowns. WR/LB DIALLEO BURKS (6-3, 195, Eastern Kentucky), who has 779 yards and 21 touchdowns completes this dynamic trio. The Desperados are the only team in the AFL with three receivers with at least 775 receiving yards this season.

Horacek has posted huge numbers in the passing attack for the Dragons this season, ranking third in the AFL in receiving yards (1,064) and fifth in touchdowns (23). Over the last four games he has caught 37 passes for 503 yards, an average of nine receptions and 126 yards per game. Swayne is having a productive year, hauling in 62 receptions for 736 yards and 18 touchdowns. The emergence of QB NICK BROWDER (6-1, 210, Valparaiso) has added continuity to the offense, helping the Dragons lead all teams in completion percentage (71.3%).

CHICAGO QB MATT D'ORAZIO vs. PHILADELPHIA QB TONY GRAZIANI

QB MATT D'ORAZIO (6-4, 215, Otterbein) leads the Chicago Rush (4-6) against QB TONY GRAZIANI (6-3, 210, Oregon) and the Philadelphia Soul (5-5) this Sunday at the Wachovia Center at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.

D'Orazio has excelled this season, passing for 2,480 yards, 38 touchdowns and only three interceptions. Just as much of a threat on the ground as he is through the air, D'Orazio leads the League in rushing touchdowns with nine and rushing yards (142). OS C.J. JOHNSON (5-10, 175, Tennessee State), a prolific weapon on offense, has developed into the go-to-guy for D'Orazio. Johnson has 59 receptions for 671 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on the season.

Graziani, who has thrown for 2,218 yards and 32 touchdowns this season, has been a constant threat for the Soul, averaging 285 yards and four touchdowns per game over the last three games. OS STEVE SMITH (5-10, 170, Utah State) will look to be a factor as he has 59 receptions for 713 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year.
