San Diego Gulls News Release

SAN DIEGO — Different season, same result. The San Diego Gulls continued their tradition of dominating the Bakersfield Condors in the Taylor Cup Playoffs and with two comfortable wins last weekend, the Blue and Orange need one more to advance to the second round. San Diego heads to Bakersfield's Centennial Garden for Game Three on Thursday, where it has a chance to sweep the Condors for the second straight year.

John Spoltore, regular season scoring champion, is back atop the leader board in the playoffs. Through two games, he leads the West Coast Hockey League with four points... Goaltender of the Year Trevor Koenig is up to his old tricks leading the league in wins, goals against average and save percentage. Koenig now has a 12-3 lifetime record in the Taylor Cup Playoffs... Mark Woolf has moved to 11th all-time on San Diego's playoff scoring list with 28 points... Brad Belland is the franchise's all-time leader with 59 points... The Gulls are 13-2 all-time versus Bakersfield in the playoffs...
