Atlantic City leads series 1 game to 0

No. 3 Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies at No. 1 Trenton Titans 7:05 p.m. ET

Daniel Lacroix's goal at 3:21 of overtime gave Atlantic City a 4-3 come-from-behind win in Game 1 on Friday at Trenton . . . Trailing 3-1 after two periods, Bullies' Kirk Furey, who had three points (2g-1a), scored an unassisted power-play goal at 16:44 of the third and Mike Scott tied the game with a goal at 17:53 forcing overtime . . . Titans won the last three regular season meetings, including two at Atlantic City, and were 3-2 at home and 6-3-1 overall against Atlantic City in the regular season . . . Trenton's Scott Bertoli scored 13 points (4g-9a) in the regular season against the Bullies .. . . Titans beat Roanoke, three games to one, in the Northeast Division Semifinals . . . Bullies beat Charlotte, three games to two, in the Northeast Division Semifinals . . . Atlantic City's Stefan Rivard is tied for the ECHL lead with seven postseason assists . . . Jason Deskins leads Trenton in the postseason with eight points (2g-6a) . . . Atlantic City's Luke Curtin is tied for third in the ECHL with five postseason goals . . . Titans' Steve O'Brien is tied for the postseason lead among ECHL defensemen with four assists and ranks second with six points (2g-4a) . . . Bullies' Scott Matzka is tied for the ECHL postseason lead with two game-winning goals . . . Atlantic City's Scott Stirling is tied for the ECHL postseason lead with one shutout while ranking second with 364 minutes and third with 191 saves . . . Trenton has made the postseason in each of its three seasons advancing to the Kelly Cup Finals in 2001 and the Northern Conference Finals in 2000.

Dayton leads series 2 games to 0 Game 3 at Johnstown on Thursday

No. 1 Dayton Bombers at No. 3 Johnstown Chiefs

Karl Goehring made 40 saves and Tom Nemeth, Ben Keup and Doug Nolan each scored a goal as Dayton won 3-1 at home on Saturday . . . Andrew Williamson's goal at 1:58 of the second overtime gave Dayton a 4-3 win in Game 1 at Hara Arena on Friday . . . Kevin Baker scored three points (2g-1a) for the Chiefs . . . Dayton's Karl Goehring made 50 saves while Johnstown's Frederic Deschenes made 57 saves . . . Dayton was 4-0-1 at home and 7-0-3 overall against Johnstown in the regular season . . . Johnstown's Eric Schneider scored 11 points (7g-4a) against the Bombers in the regular season . . . Bombers' Jamie Ling scored 14 points (4g-10a) against the Chiefs in the regular season . . . Dayton beat Cincinnati, three games to none, in the Northwest Division Semifinals . . . Johnstown beat Peoria, three games to two, in the Northwest Division Semifinals . . . Chiefs became the 11th team in the 14-year history of the ECHL to overcome a 0-2 deficit in a playoff series, and only the fourth team ever to accomplish the feat in a five-game series . . . Johnstown's Philippe leads ECHL defensemen in the postseason with four goals and seven points . . . Dayton's Chris Thompson is tied for the ECHL postseason lead with two game-winning goals . . . Bombers' Karl Goehring leads the ECHL in the postseason with a 1.10 goals against average and a .963 save percentage and is tied for the ECHL lead with five wins and one shutout . . . Johnstown's Frederic Deschenes ranks second in the ECHL with a 1.31 goals against average and a .955 save percentage and is tied for the ECHL lead with one shutout . . . Bombers, who won their first division title in team history in 2002, are in the postseason for the 11th consecutive season, tying the ECHL records for most appearances and most consecutive appearances . . . Chiefs are in the postseason for the third consecutive season and the ninth time in their 14-year history.

Game 3 at Pee Dee on Tuesday

No. 1 Greenville Grrrowl at No. 2 Pee Dee Pride Simon Gamache scored four points (2g-2a) while Jonathan Roy (2g-1a), Steve Rymsha (0g-3a) and Jeff Dessner (0g-3a) each had three points as Greenville won 7-2 in Game 2 at home on Saturday . . . Wes Goldie (2g-0a) and Dany Bousquet (1g-1a) each scored two points and David Brumby made 21 saves as Pee Dee won 6-0 at Greenville in Game 1 on Friday . . . Greenville was 3-0 at home and 4-2-1 overall against the Pride during the regular season . . . Pee Dee went 3-3-0 during the regular season against the Grrrowl . . . Greenville beat Florida, three games to two, in the Southeast Division Semifinals . .. . Pee Dee beat Columbia, three games to two, in the Southeast Division Semifinals . . . Greenville's Simon Gamache is tied for the ECHL postseason lead with two game-winning goals . . . Pee Dee's David Brumby leads the ECHL postseason with 428 minutes and is tied for the ECHL postseason lead with one shutout while ranking second with 196 saves . . . Pride has qualified for the postseason in each of its five seasons in Pee Dee . . . Greenville is making its second postseason appearance in its four-year history . . . Pee Dee lost to Louisiana in the 2001 Southern Conference Semifinals . . . Grrrowl lost to Louisiana in the 2000 Southern Conference Finals . . . Pride lost in the 1999 Southern Conference Finals to eventual Kelly Cup winner Mississippi.

No. 2 Mississippi Sea Wolves at No. 4 Jackson Bandits Steffon Walby scored two goals and Francois Fortier had four points (1g-3a) in Mississippi's 6-1 win at home on Saturday . . . Francois Fortier and Jerome Marois each scored a goal and had an assist in Mississippi's 5-2 home win in Game 1 on Friday . . . Sea Wolves were 2-2-1 at home and 6-3-1 overall against Jackson during the regular season . . . Jackson's Richard Pitirri scored 12 points against the Sea Wolves (8g-4a) in the regular season . . .. Mississippi's Steffon Walby scored 15 points (7g-8a) against the Bandits in the regular season . . . Mississippi beat Pensacola, three games to none, in the Southwest Division Semifinals . . . Bandits beat Louisiana, three games to two, in the Southwest Division Semifinals . . . Jackson's win over Louisiana is the third-biggest playoff upset in ECHL history . . . Bandits finished the season with 77 points compared to Louisiana's ECHL record-setting 116 points . . . Mississippi is in the postseason for the first time since 2000 and the fourth time in its six-year history . . . Since moving from Chesapeake prior to the 1999 season, the Bandits had not won a playoff series before their win against New Orleans in the Wild Card Game . . . Sea Wolves won the Kelly Cup in 1999 beating Richmond, four games to three, in the finals .. . . Jackson's James Patterson leads the ECHL postseason with seven goals and is tied for the lead with 11 points.
