Gripp Captures Old Navys Homerun Hero Award for July

Huntsville, AL â Huntsville Stars infielder Ryan Gripp will receive Old Navy's Homerun Hero Award for the month of July in a special pre-game ceremony at Joe Davis Stadium on Friday, August 15, 2003. Gripp led the Stars with three homeruns during the month of July.
The Old Navy Homerun Hero Award honors Minor League Baseball's rising stars. In its second year, the program tracks the top 15 Minor League Homerun hitters throughout the season, concluding with the top hitter winning both the award and a $100 Old Navy gift card. Fans can to root for their hometown heroes by tracking the top batters at www.minorleaguebaseball.com and www.oldnavy.com.
