
Griffins Hold Jersey Auction On-Line

Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins are conducting an internet auction of the alternate jerseys worn by the American Hockey League team during Friday home games throughout the 2002-03 regular season. These game-worn red and white sweaters, most of which are autographed by the player, are modeled after those of the Detroit Red Wings and feature a red Griffins crest. The minimum bid for each jersey is $199.
The auction, currently running through eBay.com, is accessible through a link on the front page of griffinshockey.com. The jerseys are being auctioned at intervals, with each auction lasting seven days. Bids on the final jerseys will be accepted until the afternoon of Friday, May 16.
