GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Tuesday announced the hiring of Jessica Boyer as a season ticket sales account executive.
Boyer spent the last two seasons with the National Basketball Association Development League's Grand Rapids Drive. After completing a marketing internship with the team during its inaugural 2014-15 season, Boyer was hired on full time in May 2015. As a business development account executive with the Drive, her responsibilities included selling group outings, season ticket plans and corporate sponsorship packages as well as assisting with the team's public relations initiatives.
A Battle Creek, Mich., native, Boyer also has experience as a marketing and promotions intern with the Kalamazoo Growlers of the Northwoods League in the summer of 2014.
Boyer earned a bachelor of science in advertising and public relations from Grand Valley State University in May 2015.
