
Greyhounds sign a Rocket

WHEELING, WV â The Ohio Valley Greyhounds announce the resigning of defensive end DeJuan Goulde. Goulde was a key defensive player on the 2002 championship team recording 22.5 sacks, defensive team MVP and NIFL's 1st team all-conference. In 2003 DeJuan played for the Cape Fear Wildcats.
Goulde was a stellar defensive end/linebacker for the University of Toledo during the 2000 football season.
Goulde is a 6'1", 245-pound native of Euclid, Ohio. In the 2001 season DeJuan was a captain of Rocket football team. He was voted 3rd team All-American and 1st team MAC for the second time, in 1998 2nd team MAC. Goulde was also voted 2001 runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year(MAC). Goulde career was highlighted by 22 solo sacks, 175 tackles, 42 tackles for a loss. Game highs include 12 tackles vs. Syracuse and 3 sacks vs. Northern Illinois.
Goulde played his High School football at Euclid High School. DeJuan was voted to Ohio's All- State, 1st Team two years.
